Entertainment About Town
The Alpine Theatre has been a fixture in downtown Ripley since it opened its door in 1936. It has been restored through the Main Street Ripley organization and is included on West Virginia's Historic Theatre Trail. Performances in the 100-seat auditorium range from live music concerts and comedy shows to movies and lectures. It serves as the home of the Jackson County Players theatrical troupe.
